رؤيتان

هذا المعرض المشترك لعدستين، ليس لقاءً لفنانين من بلدين مختلفين، ومن قارتين مختلفتين، إنه حوار بين رؤيتين. ففي الحين الذي ترصد فيه يارميلا ستوكوفا الأحداث الكبرى في عالمنا من حروب إلى دمار إلى مآسٍ في بلدان أسيا وأفريقيا بما فيها بلدنا سوريا، فإن نصوح زغلولة ينشد أغنية حزينة لوداع الماضي.

وفي الحين الذي تحتج عدسة يارميلا على ظلم الحروب بكل روح إنسانية، فإن عدسة نصوح تتجرع الموت البطيء، منتظراً سريان سم الزمن في أوصال مدينته الحبيبة دمشق. 

Two Visions

This joint exhibition of two lenses is not just a meeting of artists from two different countries and two different continents, it is a dialogue between two visions. While Jarmila Stukova captures the major events in our world like wars, destruction, and tragedies in Asian and African countries, including Syria, Nassouh Zaghlouleh sings a mournful song of farewell to the past .

And while Jarmila's lens humanly protests the injustice of wars, Nassouh's lens endures a slow death, waiting for the poison of time to seep into the veins of his beloved city, Damascus .
