Mustafa Al-Hallaj

 Mustafa Al-Hallaj is an artist and Palestinian sculptor born in Jaffa, 1938. Practise graphic art early, as well as art drawing, photography and printing. Take care to read Canaanite and Egyptian roots in his graphics and create his own lines. He studied middle school in Cairo and secondary school in Fakuq, Sharqiya governorate, Egypt, and received general secondary school in 1957. Then he joined the College of Fine Arts in Cairo. He graduated from the sculpture department in 1963. He died in Damascus while trying to save his works from a fire at his atelier in 2002.
