Mustafa Ali

 Mustafa Ali was born in Latakia in 1965,  graduated from the sculpture department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Damascus University in 1979 and graduated in 1996 from the Academy of Fine Arts in the Italian city of Carara in 1996. As part of his efforts to promote Syrian cultural events, he established the Mustafa Ali Foundation and Center for the Arts, and a MAKAN association for the arts.

 professional sculpture on various wood ores and bronze, evokes works on emotions,                    psychological conditions and ancient civilizations. It also adopts different expressionist methods, and its sculptures include strange emotional characters, half-statues inspired by history, and abstract faces coming from the ancient past. Authorized to prepare public monuments, including the "Syria Gate", for the Mediterranean Games in Bari, Italy; The "Tower of Memory" at the Damascus International Fair campus; The "Damascus sword" in Umayyad Square, Damascus (in collaboration with artist Ihsan Entabi).
