Fadi Yazigi
Fadi Yazigi was born in Latakia in 1966 and studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Damascus University. His works are centred on human emotions with high sensitivity to those people he meets and portrays in his work. One of the pillars of his experimental work on materials and techniques, which allows him to re-create his people in new ways.
It often portrays ordinary people and shows their dysfunction, both physically and morally. Although individual expressions are provided, people are so intertwined that it is difficult to distinguish between them. Whether it reveals anxiety or smiles naively, it shows the emotions and tales of tragedy and war that have become a constant reality of life in Syria.
