Lutfi Romhein

Lutfi Romhein was born in Al-Quriya, Swaida Governorate in 1954. He taught sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karara, Italy, in 1985, Romhein works focusing on the dual relationship between men and women or on the binary in general. Women's beauty remains central to its introduction, especially on the material of raw stone and wood, with symbolic additions that introduce the atmosphere of dance and freedom, but in much of the work comes integrated with the man, With an immersive sense of joy, Syrian artist Lutfi Romhein is one of the pioneers of the sculpture he has been practicing for over sixty years. Even his abstract works of human meaning became ambassador to the Syrian sculpture in France where he resides and with a little insight into the details of the works of this artist and his way of sculpting them goes to where creativity originated. The sculptor Lutfi Romhein possessed the gift of sculpture and found it professional and acquired its techniques so that his hands and tools, along with the sculpture materials used, became an art machine possessing a human soul.
